The Сimcool disc oil skimmer is an easy-to-install and easy-to-operate tool.

It is designed to remove free-floating oil from the surface of metalworking fluids in individual metalworking machine coolant tanks, using a rotating disc.

The disc skimmer can be installed on any individual metalworking machine coolant tank. Simply attach it to the tank wall via its bracket. For trouble-free operation, the disc skimmer must be connected to a single-phase 220 V / 50 HZ power supply.

During operation, floating oil adheres to the rotating disc and is removed by stationary wiper blades in the collector. The disc rotates at a speed of 2.5 revolutions per minute, providing an oil removal rate of up to 4.5 liters per hour.

Two models are available: a 12-inch model for operation in tanks with higher liquid levels and an 18-inch model for lower liquid levels. Apart from the difference in disc size, the models have identical specifications and performance characteristics.
